« Last post by Benny4218 on September 14, 2017, 09:03:31 AM »
Hi

Im looking to stock a 900L aquarium with a large colony of Tropheus.

Im finding it hard to locate some decent lines.
My only parameters are i want F1 or WC and they must show dark body with some red.

Let me know, Money is not a problem.

Regards
Benn Weston

There are many aquarists / hobbyists and ironically some of Australia's biggest scale breeders in Perth supplying all manner of fish, so live supply is plentiful. Less than 5hrs away (by Air) we have many of Australia's live fish importers and you can buy via catalogue or order at prices below the local LFSs.

I think the shops that have closed simply didn't read the market well and failed to operate economically.
What Perth needs is more competition in the dry goods area and that is coming ... The live fish market is thriving with thousands of fish sold weekly thru ads on various sites (like this), Quokka, Gumtree, etc.
Not many people want to go to a LFS and spend 50-100% extra on their fish.

The recent closure of a couple of shops simply opens the door for others to open business. :agree:
Just my thoughts ...
